We are not having a formal class session this week because we are holding appointment times to meet with specific students about their common assignment project.
Next week please come to NU to hand in your project for the last class between 4 and 5 pm.
THANKS!!!!

Thank you for analyzing the QRIs. We will be sharing our findings the next time we are together.
We will NOT be posting a video for you to analyze this week. People expressed that they were stressed about their projects, so we are giving this time to just focus on that. Disregard the syllabus to do an assignment on the blog.
Please respond to Chapter 9 Learning Logs below.

Thank you to everyone who replied to your classmates' blogs. We have enjoyed reading your thoughts and insights.
For those of you who have not replied, please do so ASAP. If we do not see them for Ch. 1 & 2 as well as for Ch. 3 this will affect your grade. The learning logs & responses are worth 30% of your average.
Click on COMMENTS below this post and please add your reflection to at least 2 of your classmates' Chapter 3 blogs.

Thank you for posting to EDU 572 Class Blog. It is wonderful to see all of your deep thoughts and connections as you read about "Diagnostic Teaching" and "The Reading Event."
Each week you will be expected to respond to AT LEAST TWO of your colleagues' learning logs. You will respond under the comments section of the class blog (kwarham.blogspot.com). Be sure to include WHO you are responding to along with your response.
For Example:
-I agree with what Ellen had to say about _________ because...
-E. Musto really made me think about __________. I connected to my
experiences with...
-I was a little confused abut __________, but Michelle really cleared this up for me when she said ...
Also, feel free to jump in the comments at ANY TIME to add a rich depth to the conversation.
We look forward to watching this evolve.
